Elektra Kypridemou received a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001-2007). In 2008 she moved to Cyprus, where she continued her education at the University of Cyprus. After receiving a M.A. in "Didactics and Methodology of Mathematics" from the Education Department (2008-2010), she shifted her interest to the human cognitive processes, and attended the M.A. of "Cognitive and Educational Psychology", offered from the Psychology Department (2010-2012).
Nikos Isaak is a Ph.D. student of Information and Communication Systems at Open University of Cyprus. He was educated at University of Macedonia (Greece), where he received a B.Sc. in Applied Informatics in 2001 (1997-2001). He continued his education at Open University of Cyprus, where he received an M.Sc. in Information’s Systems in 2011 (2008-2011). From 2001 he is working as a computer science teacher at secondary education in Cyprus. His research focuses on the principled understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), and how human’s natural language can be transferred into machine language for making machines smarter.
Christos Rodosthenous is an IT officer at the E-Learning and Digital Content Management Team of the Information and Communications Technologies Service, at the Open University of Cyprus. Christos academic background includes an MSc in Computational Mathematics and informatics in Education and a BSc in Mathematics and Informatics. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the area of Computational Cognition. His publications include papers at international peer-reviewed conference proceedings, a book chapter, as well as numerous technical reports. He has taught various topics in Computer Science, and has given numerous presentations to academics and students.
Skouteli Hara received a B.Sc. in Computer Science (1997-2001) and a M.Sc. in Information’s Systems in 2011 (2002-2004) from University of Cyprus. From 2011 she is a Ph.D. student of Information and Communication Systems at the Open University of Cyprus and also a member of the Computational Cognition Lab. Her publications include papers at mobile and distributed computing conferences. She is currently working as computer science teacher at secondary education in Cyprus. Her current research focuses on the data missing recovery.
